: How FBR Helps

Why should I sign up with the Federal Bar Review?

The FBR of Florida was established to help attorneys gain admission into the federal courts in and for Florida. We make your mission of obtaining federal certification painless and hassle free by providing you with applications for admission to all of the federal jurisdictions in and for Florida and by providing you with study materials to prepare you for the Northern & Southern District examinations in the slightest amount of time possible. Currently, we remain the only source of preparation materials for the Northern & Southern Districts of Florida bar examinations.

What do the Federal Bar Review Study Materials contain?

Our study material contains:

  • Quality comprehensive outlines on all five of the subjects tested on both the United States District Court, Northern & Southern Districts of Florida bar examinations, including:

    1. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
    2. Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure
    3. Federal Rules of Evidence
    4. Federal Jurisdiction & Venue
    5. Local Rules (Northern & Southern Districts of Florida)

  • Valuable test taking tips and strategies specific to this examination

  • Best of all, the actual 500 question test bank in which the Southern District will use to make its next examination with an answer key and citations.

How much time should I set aside to obtain the federal certifications?

It should take you no more than 20 minutes to complete and perfect the application for each jurisdiction. Although the time needed to study for the exams greatly depends on your knowledge of the Federal Rules, we recommend that you set aside six days or three weekends at 3 hours a day if you are taking the exam(s) in the Southern District and 5 to 6 hours a day if you are taking the exam(s) in the Northern District.
